About Bracelets & Malas
Malas — strings of prayer beads, traditionally 108 beads plus a guru bead — have long been used in Hindu and Buddhist practice for japa (mantra repetition) and meditation, with the guru bead marking the start and end of a full cycle. Beads are made from a range of materials — Rudraksha seeds, various gemstones, and crystals — each carrying its own traditional association (for instance, Rudraksha with Lord Shiva, or specific gemstones with a Navagraha planet). Zodiac-accent bracelets pair a wearer's rashi (moon sign) with a corresponding stone, following the same planetary logic used for individual gemstones.
